MCLA Institute for the Arts and Humanities & Sm[ART] Commons Blog Intern, Destiny Rivera
Destiny Rivera is an intern at MCLA Institute for the Arts and Humanities as well as a writer SM[ART] Commons Blog. In her position as the community engagement associate at IAH, she works to actively engage the community through opportunities such as dialogue sessions and workshops. She works to amplify the voices of the individuals around her with her work on the Empowered Voices Collective and the Student Advisory Board. In her position for the SM[ART] Commons Blog Rivera is a content creator. She reports on the events that are going around campus. She wants to make sure that individuals can get involved with the experiences that MCLA has to offer.
Rivera was in her Senior year at MCLA during her internships and graduated in May 2021 with a bachelors degree in English and Arts Management.
