C4 Podcast Production Assistant

Summary of Position: My job as a podcast production assistant is much like working as a TA, in that I’m working alongside students in the AMGT-430 Art of the Podcast class to create their individual episodes for the C4 Initiative’s podcast, Thinking Like a Region. My job is to help these students cultivate their interviewing, recording, and editing skills and put these skills to work. While the majority of my work is online, I work in person as a facilitator in the Poddy Mouth podcast studio to help students in their recording process. I also create resources for these students and use Canvas to distribute them. Like a TA, I give the professor a student perspective on how to improve the class and make the experience of podcast creation the best it can be.
