We are so excited to introduce the amazing duo running the Sm[ART] Commons Blog and social media for the fall semester!

Join us in welcoming back Enaya Ajahnae (she/her) - our senior Creative Content Curator here on the Sm[ART] Commons Blog!

ree

Enaya is a multimedia artist who brings imagination and storytelling to everything she creates. Her practice spans painting, sculpture, analog photography, collage, and curatorial work, exploring identity, nature, culture, and self-expression.

After managing the blog and socials last spring, she's back this semester to keep the creative energy flowing online! Enaya is passionate about making space for artists' voices- whether through curating exhibitions, crafting engaging content, or building connections between art and community.

Recently she exhibited work at Gallery 51 "INK/IMAGE/IDENTITY", a show she also helped curate and market through MOSAIC's Summer A.I.R. Program. She continues developing her body of work "Entwined Perceptions" for her upcoming exhibition at the Sandisfield Arts Center in fall 2026.

We are thrilled to have her leading our digital presence this fall, during her final semester at MCLA!

Meet the new member of the Sm[ART] Commons Blog squad, Sarah Briggs (she/her)- our Creative Publications Editor!

ree

Sarah is an art and history lover from Williamstown, MA. She is working towards a career in museum programming and education in the hopes of making museums more accessible.

Sarah has been involved in many local art organizations here in the Berkshires. She worked as a Museum Attendant and performer in MASS MoCA's summer show, "The Plastic Bag Store." She also completed an internship during the spring semester at the museum's Public Programs department, where she gained insight about furthering programming around inclusion at an art museum.

Over the summer, Sarah interned at the Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum, where she reshaped the field trip curriculum. Sarah is now participating in a new opportunity at Ventfort Hall, where she is again assisting with public programs and school outreach.

She is excited to work on the blog this year because it not only highlights the college, but also the greater Berkshire community she has lived in her whole life.

We have so much in store for this semester and cannot wait to share it with you!
