WHO WE ARE
Sm[ART] Commons is run by MCLA arts management students featuring interviews, reviews, articles and resources for current and prospective students, alumni, and the surrounding community. Students have conducted interview profiles on professionals in the field, alumni and students providing a platform for students to investigate the field of arts and culture.
OUR MISSION
Sm[ART] Commons is a platform for students and graduates from the Fine and Performing Arts programs at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) to explore and share writing about arts and culture. We give rise to emerging voices in the field by showcasing their interviews, think pieces, video clips and documentation of work and progress in the community. As a result, Sm[ART] Commons endeavors to engage the arts community by sharing the inspiring work of these young artists, educators, and managers who not only contribute to but also shape the field.
